Why Donate?

Addiction and substance abuse are widespread in our society. They affect our families and communities, costing the nation an estimated $740 annually billion related to crime, healthcare and loss of productivity. Today, It is estimated that 1 out of every 4 children are living in families suffering from substance abuse.

The good news is that substance abuse is preventable and addiction is treatable. Research has shown that long-term substance use by adolescents can often be mitigated through evidence-based intervention strategies. Research has also established reliable treatments that allow adults with Substance Use Disorders to recover and regain control of their lives.

Why Us?

Substance abuse directly affects more than 20 million Americans every year, while only 2-3 million Americans receive any type of substance abuse treatment each year. We are on a mission to change this disparity.

Today’s for-profit treatment infrastructure is highly intensive, costly, and long-term, all while more than two decades of research has pointed to surprisingly few differences in outcome between these approaches and shorter less intensive approaches. In designing our programs and services, we focused on the evidence rather than handpicking treatments to maximize profits. In doing so, we created programs that are less intensive without sacrificing comprehensiveness and are affordable enough for anyone in need. This fills a desperately needed level of care by providing quality treatment, regardless of scheduling limitations or ability to pay. We do not turn anyone away for inability to pay.

To continue providing these services, we need your support. Monetary donations of any amount are so beneficial in sustaining our programs. Donations help to pay for treatment, prevention, and intervention services provided to adolescents, adults and families in need.
